Garden Gnomes

One of the most popular garden ornaments would be the Garden Gnomes. These are little statues shaped as little dwarves. They are quite popular because they look cute and interesting.
The form of these gnomes is based on the characters of fairy tales. If you look at them closely, they look like the dwarves in the the story of snow white. From the proportion of their bodies to their costumes, these gnomes’ apperances are very silmilar to the seven dwarves. The only difference is that the designs of the dwarves are not limited to seven.
They also come in various sizes. You can find gnomes as big as action figurs to gnomes that are one foot tall. Gnomes depicting various actions are also available. You could find gnomes pushing wheelbarrows, carrying fruit baskets and the like.
What’s interesting about these little sculptures is the idea that you can create a scenario using gnomes invarious poses and actions. The way are sculpted represents slices of life which make them not only interesting but also versatile, in a way, for landscape designs.
The materials used to make them are usually just plaster. Since the raw materials are cheap, you could expect these items to be really affordable.
